Ranchu Pond in Belgium
Dear Ranchu Friends,
In this thread I want to show you how I keep my Ranchu. I hope you will enjoy the trip to Belgium ! On the first 3 photos you can see my Nisai and Oya Ranchu House. On the first photo you see 4 ponds of 300 cm x 150 cm and 4 ponds of 200 cm x 150 cm. The second photo shows a pond with Seed Ranchu. Note the algae on the bottom and the sides of the pond. The third photo shows the entrance of my Oya Ranchu House. This system allows fresh air and protection against cats. Regards, Geert Coppens |

Hi, nice set up, very neat and well organised.
Mind if i ask you a question? The artemia that you use...are they the normal artemia eggs or the eggs that are 1/3 the size of the normal artemia? Also, do u decap the eggs? How about enrichment? Thanks. P.S Hope tt i am not asking sensitive questions.... |

Very nice set up. A small size farm, no less. Very clean and equipments are exactly like many friends I know in Japan. He has to worry about heating the pond, while we have to worry about cooling the water. Amazing insights, thank you Geert for sharing with us.
