Thinking of owning a bird

hi there. i am thinking of owning a bird.. i have no experience before so i wonder wat kind of birds should i start off with first? pls enlighten me! thanks!

start with a baby lovebird, easier to maintain and affectionate, gd for newbies.

A cheap bird is Not Good,A gd bird is never cheap.But lovebirds u can get them abt $40-60,excluding cage N food N toys.U oso need to spend time wif them.Cheap bird means the shop person selling it below average price means the bird might hav diease or sum kind of feather plucking problems,tis is most common in larger birds.Wen buying a bird make sure its active N make sure its not 2 young or unweaned.Hope tis info helps u.Bird keeping is a commitment,make sure u hav the commitment.Glad u r interested In parrots.

unweaned birds are usually more expensive and more in demand than weaned birds. :x

You can try Goodwill Birds Trading or Song Bird Centre.
