Silky Terrier for urgent adoption
The below adoption is being extracted from doggiesite. Pls contact the owner from there.
www.****.com Read the posting below which is self-explantory. Hi All, I currently have a silky terrier of 11yrs old with long term medication on Fortek (heart murmur) and Duratears (eye unable to produce enough tears). My dog had been in place in pet boarding of $300/mth ever since I have given birth to a premature baby boy in early November 2005. My baby boy undergo 3 operations (hernia ops, stomach ops and tracheostomy ops) one after another. He has been in KKH since birth and has just been discharged from KKH last month (April). My baby boy will need regular medical checkups, daily usage of medical accessories and medical equipment. Doctors in KKH have advised that I cannot have any pets in my home as my baby boy is having tracheostomy (hole in the throat to assist him in breathing). The hole is link directly to the lung. Therefore I have to ensure cleaniness at home. I have since lost my job and my hubby is the only breadwinner. All this unexpected circumstances and expenses on my baby boy's medical bills has lead my hubby and I to be unable to care and pay for my dog's pet boarding and its medical expenses. I had asked around my relatives and none of them are able to care for my dog. I was being advice to put my dog to sleep by my parents and relatives since he's so old and have medical issues. As a dog lover, I can't put my heart to put him to sleep especially when he's been with my hubby and I for 11yrs. Without my dog, my hubby and I will not be together and gotten married. I had been trying to find a home for him but was told by a lot of people that he's too old for adoption. I had chanced upon this forum and hope I'm able to get an adoption for him. Please PM me if you are able to provide a loving home for him. I was given end of this month (the deadline on the fate of my dog) by my parents and relatives. I really hope to bring my dog home after my son is off his tracheostomy (it may take 6mths to 1yr) and he's able to die of old age naturally instead of being put to sleep. However financially I'm unable to do so. Thank you very much for your attention. Kindly help me to spread words around. Last edited by chinsandhollandlops : 26-May-2006 at 01:28 PM.
