A New Betta Forum for All Collectors and Hobbyists

Greeting, and salutation, we are very happy to introduce the new Betta
Forum for all members. Betta Splenden or Plakud is one of the most important specie of ornamental fish in Thailand. The tradition and legendary status of the Siamese Fighting Fish in Thailand can be traced back to the very beginning of the Thai History.

Plakud in Thailand can be separated into two major categories, one is the actual fighting species and the other is the fish for ornamental hobbyists throughout the globe. The former has been developed to be great fighters and usually are closely related to the wild Plakud. They will have characteristics that will be excellent for fighting, while their ecstactic characteristics are not prominent. The latter kind of Bettas are bred specifically for hobbyists and will have many types, colours, fins characteristics and species. The choices and beauty are will sure keep you breathless.
