'Flight Suit'

Shunlung,
Would you be kind enough to show us the 'Flight Suit' and perhaps share how to make one. Looking forward to meeting you.

I rather call what I make for Tinkerbell as Tinkerbell harness. That is unique and totally different from all those commercial harness which are not safe and very badly conceived and designed.

I thought I have been sharing that design with people around the world for the last couple of years with very detailed reports as well as hundreds of step by step photos of making the harness, putting on the harness and the harness in actual usage. I do not think any other harness has that kind of documentation to back them up. All I ask is that if anyone use my design, they should put in a donation to Gerald Durrell wildlife trust
http://www.durrellwildlife.org/
or to WWF or other conservation bodies of your choice.

It is better to rely on what I have written which was fresh at the point of writting than on my memories which may be faulty now.

The most important part about the harness is not the harness itself, but the training and bonding which allowed the harness to be used safely.

Since Tinkerbell is over there and I am over here, all her harnesses are over there as she is the one to use it.

I did not take any back with me. I am sure you understand

OK Shanlung,
I'll talk to you tomorrow. I believe your 'Tinkerbell Harness' is made out of small doggie harness based on the pictures on your website. I just couldn't fully grasp the whole process.

Frankie,

Do try to relax.

I find that one problem people have with Tinkerbell harness is that they cannot believe that it is that simple.

The harness has nothing whatsoever to do with doggie harness. But I adapted Tinkerbell harness to become a superb harness for my cat
and that of a friend.

Among the letters I wrote on harness in Part 1, the early period, check out "

Tink wearing harness -Latest Details of Tink's harness

Tinkerbell - an easy way to make a harness

The photos will also have very explicit directions as to what I was doing.

Any special knots that you need, the URL to those places will be in those letters, or in the photo folders.

And do try to believe that it is that easy, that can help you tremendously.
