National Day Parakeet Competition and Small Animal Fair 10 Aug 08 @Farmart

Dear all,

There is a Parakeet Competition & Small Animal Fair this coming 10th Aug 08 organised by E-Pet Stop at Farmart. It is a one day event beginning at 10am and end at 6pm.

Location : Farmart Carpark with Tentages and PA system.



Event Details:
1) Main Competition : Parakeet Competition (Open only to 3 Category, "Lovebird", "Cockatiel" & "Budgerigar")
2) Sub Competition : Best Trick Bird Competition (Open to all Kinds of Parrots)
3) Dialogue on Health care of birds with Dr Thiru
4) Parrots photo talking with the public
5) Prize Presentation
6) Lucky Draw

Note: Non participant are also welcome to bring their parrots for public photo taking. But please ensure that the bird is not too aggressive.

There are many prizes to be won by all participants. Your registration fee is definately worth more than what you pay. Firstly, all participants will walk away with a “goody bag” which is actually a bird carrier (cage) with goodies inside. For the top three winners in each categories (buggies, cockatiel & love bird) and the Best Trick Competition (open to all birds), each winner will walk away with a trophy, a nice bird cage sponsored by Migoto, bird food and electrical appliances. That’s not all, all participants will stand a chance to win in the lucky draw, which consist of colour TV, microwave oven, stand fan, juice extractor, rice cooker etc. So, your registration of $12 for your first bird and $8 for your subsequent bird in the same category is definitely worth it.

1000 hrs - 1200 hrs : Final Registration for Best Trick and Parakeets Competition
1200 hrs - 1330 hrs : Best Trick Parrot Competition (Performance & Judging)
1330 hrs - 1430 hrs : National Day Parakeets Competition (Appreciation & Judging)
1430 hrs - 1500 hrs : Dialogue with Dr Thiru
1500 hrs - 1630 hrs : Hamster Race & Games
1630 hrs - 1715 hrs : Prize Presentation
1715 hrs - 1800 hrs : Lucky Draw & Grand Finale

Dear all,

On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to thank each and everyone, who have spent your valuable time to support and participate in this event.

We would also like to congratulate those Parakeet / Parrot Owners who have won in the Main Parakeet Competition and Best Trick Competition.

Once again, many thanks to all for contributing to the success of this event. Not only being able to see many species of parrots around (I even saw a Hyacinth Macaw and Sky's Ruby Macaw), we even get to see the marvellous performance of the various parrots that have participated in the Best Trick Competition. Really an eye opener for me.
