CAG Breeding

Hello All,

Hi i am santoz here. I am new to the forum in the sense i jus registered.. haha but i have been a very frequent visitor to petsfanatics since i got my pair of CAG last Dec'07. Recently my pair have shown sign of breedings and i am really excited. i guess they have laid eggs.. but din check so as to not hmmm.. disturb and distrupt them.. Haha.. so dropped by here to get some advice.

How can i register myself as a private AVA breeder? and if lets say my CAG do breed successfully, how can i get the leg bands and register them?

Hi Santoz,
From my understanding, AVA had stop allowing private breeders to register themselves as AVA registered breeders. As for the leg ring you can actually order them on-line and for CAG you need not have to register them with AVA as they are under Cities II.

Thank you very much for your reply. Sorry ah, i am actually a novice in breeding and keeping parrots. But i think its been really fantastic breeding grey. haha and am i know where exactly i can order the leg rings? Thank you once again.
