question on amanzon

just to check is yellow crown the same as yellow naped amanzon?any kind soul care to advise thanks in advance

Double Yellow Amazon

U have pics on Double Yellow Amazon as well? Are they the sub-species of Yellwo Crown?

Nope, they are not sub-species of the Yellow Crown.

hi silvanus,
i have done some check on the net and notice that it say yellow naped and double yellow are more aggressive so not too suit for children whereas yellow crown are not as aggressive so is a better choice. any advise regards this issue?thanks

In my opinion and experience. most amazons will turn agressive when matured especially during the breeding season. Of course there are some exceptional cases and I had seen superb tame ones too. Amigo, the Yellow Nape in the Jurong bird park will be a fine example.
