chinchilla boarding?
i'm planning an overseas trip in march which will last for approx 6 days, and since my whole family will be going, there won't be anyone left to look after my chin. problem is, she's pretty much adjusted to the habit of being let out to hop and play around my room every morning, and will wait hopefully by the cage door for her time out. it's a most adorable sight, her standing up on her hind legs and looking all cute and cuddly, pleading to be let out. we've grown a lot closer too; she now seems less afraid of me and my bf and will even hop onto us or in fact, all over us while she's playing [in fact, she's sitting sweetly on my lap while i'm writing this post].
that said, i guess we'd need to send her for boarding during the course of the trip. but i guess there won't be many boarding services that allow for playtime? i'm also concerned about where she will be housed because her cage is rather spacious. what i'm most afraid of though, is that she'll think that we've neglected her and be afraid of us when we return.
does anyone know of any suitable boarding services?
