Visit to Sibu (Sarawak) Police K-9
Our recent 4 days visit to the Sibu Police K-9 unit together with two of our Singaporean counterpart ie. Francis and Silvanus. Thanks to Sgt. Phillip Fu for allowing us to train with them and warm hospitality. The Sibu K-9 unit consisting four dog handlers in which 2 of dogs are used as a general purpose dog (GPD), one narcotic and one explosives.
Silvanus and Francis got the opportunity to decoy one of their GPD dog named 'WHO' a german shepherd. (pics as attached). Sgt Phillip demonstrating his Narc. and explosives dogs doing detection work (pics as attached). Together joining the training was the owner of NightwatchK-9 Mr. Leo Pui.

I am indeed very honoured to be invited to Sibu (Sarawak) Police K-9 Dog Unit. Sibu (Sarawak) Police K-9 Dog Unit is one of the most "active" Dog Units in Malaysia where they had cracked and handled many crimes cases. During the visit, I managed to "try" out their dogs and also learnt alot of knowledge when they shared their real life experience in their working field. I sincerely thanked Sgt Philip Pu and Cpl Macdonald for this special invitation and arrangement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbnqUC3twjg We came across this yellow creamy body worm sold at the Sibu Tamu (Market). This worms is a regarded as a local Sarawakian delicacy. They can be found in many parts of Malaysia. Most will take them raw, fried or even smoked. It is high in nutrients and taste like peanut butter (only without the jelly). This video is taken at one of the Tamu in Sibu. A bowl costs about Ringgit Malaysia RM5.00. Care to try one? Silvanus and Francis got away this time but they won't be so lucky on their next trip here to Sarawak
