Any 'warm' Food During Rainy Spells

Hi

The recent long cold weather is causing most of my birds to fluff up.
Any food that could keep them warm, please?

Some years back, I tried adding Baby Cham to water and my singing birds loved it and exploded into full song. A friend swears by it for his canary breeding. In fact, a foreign breeder is nicknamed Ms Gordon Bleu for obvious reason.

I have, however, stop the practice after reading the negative effects of alcohol on birds.

Brgds

Hi Santuary,

For me, personally I did't have any special food for my collection during raining season... I just make sure their 'enviroment' is not too cold... btw, many of my bird is in a room, so it will not effect much..

Hi Tanin
I may be housing my bird collection in a room as well. Would lack of sunlight have any side effect, please?
Or that you'd occassionally move some cages out in the open for sunshine?

Hi Santuary,

My bird room have sufficient sun light so I have no problem about that. However, if the room is not enough sun light, the bird may get lack of vit D, which in turn will effect on 'other nutrition' that it suppose to get...
