Re: Defamation in the forum

We would like to highlight a certain issue here which we consider serious in its nature.
We have received complains that some members are using email to make a bad reputation to our forum and the members. This behaviour is unacceptable and is in direct violation of the Computer Misuse Act(Chapter 50A) and the Defamation Act(Chapter 75).

WE WILL NOT HESITATE TO AGREE TO BE CALLED AS WITNESSES OR BE CALLED TO PROVIDE EVIDENCES AGAINST INDIVIDUALS WHO HAD VIOLATED THE LAW AND CAUSE OUR MEMBERS/ADMINISTRATORS/MODERATORS DAMAGE IN REPUTATION, PROPERTY AND/OR ANYTHING WHICH IS LIABLE FOR COMPENSATION UNDER THE LAW.

Due to such abusers, we have to disable the function to email other forum members as the emails are impossible to trace. Users will still be able to PM each other in the forum. This will allow us to track these abusers when we handle complaints from users. This is for both the safety of the forum and our users' rights.

WE PROTECT OUR USERS' PRIVACY AND RIGHTS.
