Please give Patch a Loving Home

Helping a friend to put up this thread:

Patch (unknown breed dog) has been found staggeringly along Anchorvale in Seng Kang area on 19 Jan 2007 and was simply skin to bone. Founder think he is most likely abandoned by his owner as a worn-out muddy collar was found on his neck.

Seeing his condition, founder simply could not bring ourselves to bypass him and thus, brought him to see a vet. Vet estimated patch to be around 10 years old and also, diagnosed him to have heartworm problem. Other then that, his overall health being is fine. It was saddening to learn from vet that patch has not been fed for a long period of time (during his stray on the road) and as a result, too weak to undergo the required treatment.

It has been about 2 months after Patch is being rescued and now ready to undergo the treatment. According to fosterer, Ms Joanne, he is a very gentle and friendly dog. He only barks when he knows he would be brought for walks. Patch is also known to be loving and tolerant towards children (currently staying with fosterer who has a young daughter).

A few ppl had contributed towards Patch’s heartworm treatment fee and thus, whoever is keen to adopting patch need not worry about the treatment cost.

Due to some reasons, fosterer is unable to take care of Patch further and founder really hope to find him a loving home soon.
