Prawning at Bottle Tree Park(Khatib)

Call Silvanus up and introduced him to this kampong style freshwater pond at Khatib for some fishing. Went there and ended up prawning instead...

Rods and baits provided and staff there are really helpful in giving advice to 2 prawning newbies(2nd time for me and 1st time for Silvanus )

Took 2 chairs and sat down, threw in the bait.... 2 mins pass.. floater sank and Silvanus had hooked on a prawn !! His 1st prawn !! Enough words, look at the pics

Fun but not a cheap pass time hobby at $14.50 per hour.
Anyway is a good place for family and group outing.

Saw ur post quite interesting.Let me do some recomendation if u guy like prawning.I always go to farmart centre to do my prawning there is cheaper $26 for 3 hrs somemore got shelter.It is open 24hrs those who cannot sleep at nite can go and play.

theres another area at marina south. they have fishing and prawning too. not that its as expensive as the khatib one.probably the chances of hooking a prawn at such a quick rate, not that high. but kinda nice to go to after a tour around city area.

I going there again this coming tuesday morning, have some kakis fishing there at the pond.. Gonna go disturb them

Went there to prawn b4 but not much prawn leh....Somemore cannot use personal rod Usually go there is to do fishing.......

Caught this 8 inches(without the pincers) King Kong recently at Bottle Tree Park.
