IMO, I say no, cos it is too high in sugar. Why not add a children's multi-vitamin instead?

Chins are from arid regions. They do not drink much and I strongly (very strongly, I can't emphasize this enough) advise against adding anything to their drinking water.
My chins get a very simple diet; plain water, mazuri pellets, and timothy hay. That's it. And they are all healthy and thriving. On a very rare occaision (once a month or so) they get a raisin. |

There are a lot of chin web sites out there and quite a few of them are full of garbage. For example there is one that recommends a diet of fresh vegetables everyday.
To answer your other question, female chins do not menstruate. |

Btw, although the amt of citric acid in oranges is quite low...i wouldn't even try it. Some people give cranberry juice instead. It's a good diuretic. |
