I have one point to add regarding this TVR Workshop. It is suitable for all wannabie, newbie and seasoned ranchu hobbyist. This workshop will also form the platform for future workshops, meetings, gatherings, visits and competitions.

Just coming to see the beautiful ranchus that many of us will never be able to set our eyes on is more than enough reason to come to this workshop.

Also don't forget to drop your request as we still have another 2 weeks more to prepare. This is your workshop. Tell us what you need to know.

These are some of the things that we are working on. If we are not able to get them in time for this workshop, definately very soon after the workshop. Let us focus on the needful first and then we will progress on to the next stage. This is a first workshop of its kind in Singapore and we need to know aeas that we can improve on for future events.

Thank you Tan25 for your suggestions. It s greatly appreciated. We will definately look into it.

thanks

Thanks I think this is a great event, looking forward to meeting up with the experts.

THough I thought the confirmation part was a bit of a "fast and furious. The 9th deadline to register is a bit tight.

I do understand that it is a bit difficult trying to arrange a comfortable place for a big group of people with no budget, and I think that's the reason why the organizers are looking for some early confirmations. They are also not collecting any money for the workshop and, I hear that the money collected now are deposits which will be returned upon entrance to the Workshop.

We are treating this Workshop as a very important event in our calendar. It is not every day that we will have a chance to meet our fellow ranchu colleagues from our ASEAN counterparts. We can finally get to meet each other face to face and not through our respective computer screens. We see this workshop as an excellent venue to introduce ourselves to each other. Get to know those who has the same passion as you do. Fish keepers can talk and talk and talk to each other about fish, I find, particularly the die hard ones. And for the future, I believe that the sky is the limit. The friendship that we will foster through our interaction at the workshop will be an excellent launching point towards a more united ranchu front in our neighbourhood. Imagine a combined international ranchu competition circuit at each of our home by Japanese judges. Personally, I am ecstatic about the idea and I hope to have a chance to meet each and every one of you.

Point taken, but the decision was only for the Kashino BBRs. The Kashino BBRs are "charity BBRs". I think for $50/- and is a Kashino, there should not be any worry. Must also spare a thought for Absolute for keeping the BBRs and not selling them away at a much higher price.

The original plan is to help Wannabie to get the hobby started. The casual Saturday session will help Wannabie and Newbie to mingle together with the experts.

OK I will extend the Kashino BBRs till the entire 50 pcs is taken up on a first come first serve basis. There is going to be as advert in the ST opening the invitation to the public. I am sure the $50/- BBRs will be taken up in no time.

On paper, we have some 60 people attending the workshop and I believe, we can only limit it to 100 people at the most otherwise it may be too big to handle.

P/s: We need lobang/help to provide video taking for the workshop.

Singapore and the Singapore ranchu community welcome you.

For the Kashino BBRs order, I have receive firm confirmation from the following:
1. Mr. PY Koh - 4 pcs
2. Mr. Kitsilano - 6 pcs
3. Mr. AroHong - 1 pc
TOTAL 11 pcs 39 pcs left.

As I have placed an order in the bbr, I will get a couple of "neutral" party and guide them on the conduct of the tikum. It was be similar or the same tikum method that we use for the first Kashino import that David brought in.
