maybe a chin would be a better pet for the future.

You could keep a chin without aircon. It won't die, as long as it is not overheated and has proper ventilation etc. The concern is quality of life. The humidity in Singapore is really stressful to a chin.

I have chins that love human company, and some that just hate it. It really boils down to proper socialisation and trust from the chin. As long as you handle the chin properly, and are patient with it, they should be people friendly.

oh i see.. Just wondering, i knw all animals do, but do chin bites their owners? i mean they are big and all and prolly will be much more painful than a hammie bite.

Hehx, each chin has a different personality =)

Erm can you plz define proper ventilation? erm do you mean fans? o.o

oh, erm abt space.. Do they nid a really big space for them to play around? cos sg houses isnt tat huge or rooms isnt tat big ^^;; or at least mine isnt >_<

Hi

This is Winter. One of the chins for sales in my shop

All chins have different characters but they do change with the amount of time u spent handling them. Tame chins do nibble a little but they hardly bite.

If u can provide aircon 14/7 then it will be ideal, but if u cant then do try to cool down the room if temp if above 30 degree.

U are welcome to drop by my place to play with my chins first and get to understand them more before committing yourself.

Fans are great for helping improve ventilation. They won't help cool a chin down though. So far, i've had some chins that bite, and some that don't. They will nibble on my hand occassionaly though..sometimes its just because they are curious.

Nibbles arent painful..For bites, it depends. some bites draw blood, but it is rare.

i dun mean to make keeping a chin sound difficult, but its better to be mentally prepared than to get one, and ask why it is behaving the way it is

wow adorable

thx Patrick for the offer, i'll go down when i am free..

Eh its ok, i just nidda knw more before i kip one ^^;

Another question: If i kip a boy and a gal chins together, they will breed, but they dun give birth often rite? Just to clarify this, cos hammies of the same gender sometimes wont get along; only when they are of the opposite gender they get along just fine, except for the extra lil pups..

If i kip two of the same gender togther, will they fight?
If just one alone, will it feel lonely?
