The first picture is of Mr.Hayakawa on the right and the official photographer from Japan checking out the entries for the Oya class.

The second and third picture is of the very famous Mr.Akira Naitoh checking out the entries for the Oya class as well. The translater was ever present to help with the communication between the event official and the judges throughout the Show.

Each judge did check out all the entries for each of their respective classification (two each) prior to the judging.

The fourth picture I believe is of Mr.Suzaka but I am not quite sure here.

The fifth picture is another of Mr.Kawaguchi and Mr.Yamada.

It is a tradition for most of the major TVR show in Thailand to have an auction during the contest and this one was no different. The auction is carried out to raise fund for the club. The fish were donated by Mr.Naitoh (red/white TV in pictures), Mr.Yatake (red fish) and Mr. Chat's BBR (Thai judge). You will also see Mr.Naitoh in the last picture overseeing the auction of his fish as well. The quality of the auction fish were incredible. I was so jealous of the winning bidders. I was so busy with taking pictures that I forgot to bid.

There were also a number of complimentary pet quality TVR for any of the participants of the show to take home if they like as well. It is an excellent idea to increase the exposure of TVRs to newbies, bravo gentlemen.

The judges were separated into 2 groups of 4 judges responsible for 2 classifications each. This set of picture is of the first round judging. The judges have 5 points each to present to each fish.

Both panel of judges took some time to look over the entries for their respective classification again prior to begining the judging. The judges will be present with each of the entry in turn. The official will present the sideview of the fish then the judges will have about 10-15 seconds to make up their mind before time is called and the judges will present the score for the fish. The official then will call the final score from all the judges for the recordation.

The first picture is of the judges discussing the finer point concerning the scoring before judging begin.

The second picture is of the judges doing a final look before judging.

The third and fourth pictures are of the official showing the side of the fish.

The fifth picture is of the 10 seconds pause for the judge to look at the fish swimming before rendering their decisions.

After careful consideration, the judges will finally give the scores for each of the fish.

I will have to stop my posting here for today. Be sure to stay tune for a lot more pictures of the judging and of the final placing for all the champions.

Hope that you have enjoyed the pictures thus far, much more to come for y'all tomorrow. Cheers and sawasdee krap for now.

More judgement from the Nisai Class. After the judges have scored the fish and the score judge sum up the total the score is then written in red on the bowl, together with the assignment of grade (A, B, C, or D).

The next serie is the judging of the Junior class lead by Mr.Naitoh himself.

I have to apologize to members for I am currently very busy and have very little time to do the posting. I will continue more posting for you tomorrow so that all members will have a lot more to see come next Monday. In the mean time, hope that you are all well, and please stay tune for more nice pictures from the Show.

TVR Competition - 4 Feb. 2007

Hello again, it has certainly been quite a long weekend. I have recently opened a shop with a friend at the Jatujak market and every weekends have certainly been a handful. Running the shop on the weekend, running a farm and taking care of clients have certainly made it difficult to finish the posting.

Any how, I have to apologize for all members who are waiting to see the rest of the pictures, I promise to post enough for you to enjoy tonight.

And here we go, I will continue now with the pics of the judging. The panel of judges lead by Mr.Naitoh and the Junior judgement.
