I'm also not sure. But can find out. Just that chins definitely can't use silicon or clay-based cat litter, regardless of as bath dust, or bedding. Cos I encountered before. 1 chin died when I used it. From respiratory problems. Currently, I'm using Blue Cloud and Wild bath dust. Depending on which one I can get when I run out.

Kaytee is repackaged blue cloud dust. Good but you have to try to keep it in an air tight container to prevent moisture from entering the dust. The Kaytee container is not fully airtight.

Umm, actually, to tell you the truth, he doesn't look like a brown velvet to me. Brown velvets are crossed from Beige and Black velvets, so they should have the mask and paw splats (hope I spelt correctly). I upload a pic of a brown velvet for you to see. This one is show quality one, so you can try to imagine the pet quality one. Maybe a little bit darker or lighter. The main thing is, the brown mask is very obvious due to the black velvet blood.

I once fostered a brown velvet. He was a real sweet fellow but poor quality chin. His colour is nice, with a strong mask and stripes on his paws. But his conformation very lousy. I don't have pics of him, else I show you.
