I keep the fish indoor, what is additional source vitamins and mineral should I give to them, or better I keep them outdoor?

Thanks,

Rex,
My experience is keeping TVR outdoor is better, the sun will help you to get better color of your TVR, the photosynthesis will create the single algae in the water, this is the riches sources for your TVR, either oxygen or spirulina. The feeding criteria: how many blocks of BW/daphnia/artemia you can give to your TVR is in 5 minutes your TVR can finish the foods is still the best measure. If your TVR cannot finish the foods in 5 minutes, this is the sign that your TVR is full, and the most important thing you have to remove the rest of foods that may reduce the water quality. Water quality is the first criteria when you keep TVR. That's why your TVR is too small in term of size and have the pale color. Good luck dan keep the good work. Keeping dan breeding the good TVR is very very challenging experience.

Yes, you can feed them again until they are full. Actually, in the second 5 minutes it is the best time for you to observe and you will find out how many block of BW your TVR needed. Yes, I live in Jakarta, South Jakarta. I am keeping and breeding goldfish at my home, that's my hobby. I have TVR, SVR, tossa, pearlscale, etc.

Hi Ton, could you suggest me which fish I can still keep or have to sort out all? May I see you collection?

You are most welcome to see my collections, on this coming Saturday morning, please inform me at # +622183795460 (my office number). In relation to the culling process or selection of TVR, please focus to the following criteria :
1. Fins : fintail and anal fin ---> balanced and proportional
2. Fintail : threelobes or fourlobes ---> fourlobes is the most desired
3. Back : Broadback
4. Head : proportional with the body
5. Color and body : clear and shiny, no spotted color
I was thinking that I will share others criteria based on my experience while you visit. Thanks and see you on Saturday. Tony.

There's a chart on the characteristics of TVRs in the Club Forum which would be really helpful as well. You may also want to visit the Hi there! Thread which I posted quite a while back, I have pictures of the back, tails and body typed most desired by competition enthusiasts.

The best way to really get good at judging fish in my opinion is that you should look at a lot of champion fish and that's one way you can train your eyes to the beauty of the Nichiran standards.
