haha, blue macaws got a history in AVA 1 OK, it caused AVA to get a warning letter from CITES, that's why they banned all CITES I blue macaws to be kept. Hycinthas is currently being discuss by CITES to be moved to appendix II as they are commonly kept as pets in the US and population has been steadily increasing.

tts a gd piece of news But the blue macaw is very huge,impressive,guess ppl who really hav alot of space 2 spare,can get 1.if not the hycintha macaw will feel crammed guess due 2 its impressive size its vocalisations muz B very loud oso....But $17 000 4 per piece is worth its availability N guess really rich parrot lovers can only afford them,to support its diet N housing.....

Just went to Sernagoon North and there are very few macaws for sale. Is it time of the year where macaws don't breed or are breeding/nesting? Or has the bird import been restricted much so that it has lessened the number of birds comign into Singapore?
