If they can eat, that is good... they will be very tired when they incubate the eggs...some of the dedicated parent will have little time to eat during breeding season...

I don't see the female coming out at all for the pass few days, normally she will come out to eat when I top up their food dish. But luckily she have got a very lovely mate that keep on going back into the nest to feed her. One thing I am worried is that they might not be able to raise so many chicks at one time. Well, if I am that lucky to have all 7 eggs hatch lah. Hee...

Latest update, just check the nest box and saw 8 eggs today. When I candle the eggs, I found out that 7 eggs are fertile and 3 of them have heart beat! Its so cool! Have never seen anything like that in whole my life, so excited! Hee...

Do you need a special torch to candle the eggs or just a normal wax candle? And best to do it in darker place?
