raw meat

I personally feed all my cats at night with wet food this consists of 2kgs of fresh diced beef and mixed into the food I also put 2 tins of whiskers canned food each night they get a different one. For the breakfast I give them whiskers singles and they always have fresh water and Royal Cannion dry biscuits for my nursing moms I add extra vitamins to the food, and the young kittens get kitten milk.

I use to feed my kitties with a steamed of mix of fish, minced chicken, minced beef and sometimes liver. With this we can start feeding kitties earlier as when they start licking their mom's kibbles they are actually ready for very soft solid food. I change the composition regularly to avoid my kitties become finicky eaters. When their chewing techniques get better I started to feed them raw beef and kibbles (not mixed as raw meat must be finished ASAP) and sometimes the steamed mixture.

My Zissura Prince Adonis had blocked urinary track about two years a go and a cyber friend of mince suggested me to feed him raw meet everyday. He has never had any problem with his urinary tract since then. Raw meat keeps the urine Ph balance although yes, you can't feed your cats only raw meat as they're built to eat different kind of meat and when wild cats eat their preys they will also eat the "half digested" of their preys diet.

I read in some overseas forum that some cat owners feed their cats pre packed raw meal frm pet shops. It has all the necessary nutritions and supplements. Does anyone know if we can get that in sg? Has anyone tried it before?

Hie guys,

With regards to this issue on barf diet, I spoke with my regular pet supplies store, and she said she was actually interested to bring in, but was afraid that there wasnt a demand for it and she cant keep in store this kind of food for very long. So on her behalf, i would like to ask you cat lovers if any of you would be interested if she did decide to bring in barf diet for cats.

Thanks for your input in advance.

Jac
