Help find Ginger, female cream/yellow Labrador Retriever

We are still searching for her. She may have been kept by someone who doesnt want to return, or sold to someone who ignorantly bought her.. Please, please help keep a lookout. Perhaps your neighbour just got a new but matured dog? Or has someone offered to sell you a similar looking dog?

She's microchipped and licensed, has just turned 3yo. She's smaller built than most Labradors, and responds to the name Ginger. Her distinctive feature is a small slit/tear on the left side of her tongue, which she bit when she was young..

Please, if anyone sees a dog that resembles that in the pictures, please call us immediately. 9389 9896 / 9106 2928.. Appreciate any help.

Help find Ginger

Ginger ran out of our house in Marine Parade back few months back. A trusted relative was moving into the house on that day. A number of movers were helping him. Ginger probably got a shocked and she ran out, even though she's met this relative a few times. She ran about in the park where we walk her daily and even came back to the house gate for a while. But ran off again when the relative called out to her. I rushed back half an hour after receiving the call, called her name, running up and down in the park, and the few streets we usually walk her.

We asked people at the coffee shop, petrol kiosks, and shops for any sightings of her. We tried to piece up the stories together, but they are piece-meal and contradicting. Eventually, we are not even sure if the reports are genuine or reliable. We get prank calls here and there, really mean ones, that play with your mind and emotions..

The subsequent few months were as frantic as the first few days searching for her. We walked the parks we usually walk her, giving out posters to dog owners, pasted posters on lampposts, and end up getting a warning from Nparks. We started advertising in classifieds, forums, and petcall, sending posters to vets and pet shops, and of course spca, ava and the police.. Many kind hearted people called to give their encouragement and advice. On the other hand, there are also people who pounce on this opportunity to play pranks. Whoever called offering a report, we were there to check it out, if we think they have a low chance of a prank.

There's no words to describe how much regret I have. Our lives have turned upside down since this happened. Things are just not the same anymore. The least I can do now is to persist in our search, and send a little prayer daily to hope for her safe return.

Please, anyone who know of someone who just took in a female lab not long ago or has seen a similar dog running around recently or some time ago, kindly let us know. Any lead is a good lead. She has a slight tear/slit left edge of her tongue (she bit her tongue when she was young). She may have walked very far from where we stay, as we are used to taking 3-hour-long walks on weekends. She's also used to climbing up to the car's backseat. Appreciate any help..

Dear all,
hope you can spread Hwee Ling's message around and hopefully we can find Ginger. Hwee Ling had advertised in the local newspapers for months and she will still do so. I believe if there's a will there will be a way.
All the best my friend!

By the way I had moved this thread to Announcement Section to make sure our members here will not miss this thread out.
