The Okayama Spring Show 2005
 

The Okayam Spring Show is the first Show of the year for the Okayama area. The Show has only one classification which is the Tosai Class (One year fish, 13cms). This year the Show was organized on August 7, 2005 and the judges were Mr.Kashino and Mr.Kawai. These pictures are provided for us by Master Kashino and his team. Thank you very much once again for the lovely pictures and for your kind consideration towards all the ranchu lovers every where.

The first set of pictures will be the atmosphere of the Okayama Summer Show 2005. What a perfect sunny day to enjoy watchint some tosais. You will also have a chance to look at Mr.Kashino and Mr.Kawai busy at work judging the ranchu. There were quite a few fish, and enthusiasts participating in this first ranchu show of the year for them.

This following set is some of the pictures of the winners. The first picture is of the East Ozeki (1st), next will be the West Ozeki (2nd), then the Tategyoji (3rd) and the last picture is of the East Torishimari (4th).

I got more pictures back from Mr.Somyos of Ranchushop.com today and would like to share them with you on the Okayama Summer Show 2005. There are a few more pictures of the atmosphere at the Show and many more of the fish that placed at the Show. Some of the pictures are a bit blurry so we have reduced the size for ease of your enjoyment. Sawasdee krap.

The first two pictures you will see Mr.Shirakawa, another well known breeder from the Okayama area, entering his fish for the Show and talking to the other breeders in the Show. You may notice that the atmosphere is very relaxing and looked more like a picnic or a barbecue more than a ranchu competition.

The first picture you will find the Selection Judges that are consulting with each other on which fish should be presented for the judges' consideration. It is very similar to the AJRS competition as well. For the Okayama Spring Show 2005 the judges are Master Kashino and Master Kawai. Both judges are very well know to ranchu breeders all over the world. They are both busy at work judging the fish.

The first ranchu that you see under this thred will be the rest of all the winners to the Okayama Spring Show 2005, being the West Torishimari (5th), and the following is Ranchu number 6th.
