yanti.. i dont think this is suitable for three cats.. and speaking of caging.. cats are best left uncaged.. any particular reason why you want to cage them?

yantifalah 25-Dec-2005 11:10 AM

not dat i want to keep them caged..just dat now,i have a small open carrier which fits the three kittens..i oni caged them sometimes if they have not urinate or pass motion and i want to go to sleep..as my kittens are not yet train..im afraid if i let go wen im going to sleep, they will pass motion and urinate everywhere..they had already done that many times which made my room smelly..it always get on my parents nerves..but other tyms after they had pass motion and urinate,i will let them out for them to play around...im just interested in buying dat cage if its cheap as im a student and do not have plenty of money..niwae,u have any suggestion on how to toilet train kittens?

yeap.. just stick them in the loo. put an litter tray in the toilet. put their food water there too. and make sure its a dry toilet. put their food as far away from the litter as possible. after eating.. put them in the litter and use their front paws to scratch away at the litter. wait awhile.. for them to poo or pee and they will slowly get it. patience is a key. do remember to use environmentally save cat litter and not clay clumping. breeder's celect is a good brand or swheat scoop. keep them in the loo until they have learnt to use the litter. another thing u can try is to put their stray poo inside the litterbox.. they will get it slowly. also do remember to clean dirtied spots with vinegar. do not use ammonia based cleaners.

hmm...few weeks ago,i tried putting the kittens in the toilet after their meal times untill the pee or poo...but still, they did not get used to it...today..i just bought cage with litter tray at happy paws at serangoon north..i had put the litter sand on the tray..but i wonder why the made a mess with it and one of them even is scared of it...why?niwae, u are part of society ya?
