Where to keep TVR?
Hi there, newbie question here.. :p
I didn't keep any fish for very long liao, lately, intro by my fren and point me to some forum and been reading a lot about gold fish and the Ranchu. And now I keep thinking of keeping some goldfish in my place, thus to start light, want to get 2nd hand tanks, maybe 2 tier tank since I can start with one tank first and later add more fish to the 2nd tank. But, the question is, if I want to keep TVR, then the glass tank I only can see from the side? So, most of you keep it in the blude fibreglass pond or what? Thanks! |

You could also have a two tier tubs by having a stand to accomodate the 2 tubs. |

DO NOT use glass tank for TVR. They will not do well. Maybe ok for quarantine but if you really serious about TVR, should get a plastic tub or fibreglass tub to keep and groom them. ;) :D |
PKTAN, why not come down and meet us on Saturday afternoon and we can all learn together and meet some ranchu "kaki" there.
Chloramine treatment is the topic we will be discussing. |
Make sure you start slow and do not buy too many fish. Get used to keeping fish, and the choirs. It is good to get inexpensive fish to start so that the loss will not be discouraging. The learning curve will be rather steep the first few months. We are all here to help if you have any problems. Cheers.
