Feathers problem
 

Hi guys , i have some problem with PiPi my white face tiel ... he is going to be a year old soon ... but this few months his feathers drops alot.. i think it should be normal .. cos his face is changing to white so i guess is molting ... but here comes the real problem ...

His Tail used to be so long and beautiful ... but now it seems like torn and broken and hanging like dropping but it stay there ... do you guys have the same problem with your tiel ?? It is so heart pain to see him like that .. and heard from a uncle at farmart we have to pluck out the feathers to let it grow back beautiful ... is it true ??

Hi,
I will suggest pluck out the tail and in a month plus will be beautiful again. Also make sure the cage for the parrot is not too small or the tail will be damage again in no time.
