hi silvanus,
i have done some check on the net and notice that it say yellow naped and double yellow are more aggressive so not too suit for children whereas yellow crown are not as aggressive so is a better choice. any advise regards this issue?thanks

In my opinion and experience. most amazons will turn agressive when matured especially during the breeding season. Of course there are some exceptional cases and I had seen superb tame ones too. Amigo, the Yellow Nape in the Jurong bird park will be a fine example.

Former executive director of Jurong Bird Park Dr Wong enjoys a meal with a feathered companion, Amigo, the singing, number-counting yellow-naped Amazon parrot and star of Jurong BirdPark.
