Who says birds and kids can't mix ?
 

Mr Chua's daughter, Jessica Chua is 3 years old this year. Since young, from the age of 3 month, she frequents the birdshop, birdpark and the zoo together with her parents, for both work and leisure.
She has been keeping her petbirds, 2 baby lovebirds since 2 years old. They were a present to Jessica by the Singapore International Dancer and Judge, Mr Shawn Tay of Shawn & Gladys Danceworld. Since then, she has been keeping and playing with her petbirds. Everyday, without fail, Jessica would feed her lovebirds with the help of her parents. Sometimes, Jessica would even remind them that her lovebirds need feeding ! This sense of responsibility is cultivated through bird keeping and her love for animals.
Jessica is capable of identifying birds such as Crown Cranes, Scarlet ibis , Flamingos, Shoebills, different species of parrots and animals, quite a feat for a 3 year old.
You can catch Jessica at Goodwill Birds Trading every weekend playing watching and playing with her lovebirds.
