Soaked/sprouted Seeds

Hi All
Can anyone advise the correct method of soaking and sprouting seeds under local Singapore condition, please?

Currently am doing as follows:
0800hrs - soak seeds
1800hrs - washes soaked seeds and continue to soak with fresh water
0800hrs [ next day ] - washes soaked seeds and feeds birds with them [ moderate amount so that seeds will be finished by 1200hrs ].

Wonder if my method is correct.

Have not tried sprouting, please advise how this is done.

Many thanks

Soaked seeds can be used as an additional source of protein and energy for breeding birds. It is also a good medium to administer vitamins and minerals for nesting and breeding birds. Although giving soaked seeds have benefits. it is easily contaminated and proven lethal to birds.

Sprouting seeds

- Put the seeds you intend to sprout on a damp piece of cotton. Make sure that the cotton is never completely dried.

Hard husked seeds like sunflower seeds will take longer to sprout.
