Thailand's 6th Grand Pet Show
 

Hi All,

I hope that every one had a good weekend. This past weekend, the biggest pet show was organized here in Thailand. The name of the show is the Thailand's 6th Grand Pet Show. It was held between 15 - 17 December 2006 at the Rose Garden which is situated a little way outside of Bangkok. There were competitions in Dogs, Cats, and ornamental fish. I have taken quite a few pictures during the show and would like to share them with members here.

As I have posted in the Ranchu Club Forum that during this show, I and my good friend, Mr.Nelson Chua (SG), have sent a few fish for the competition. We were lucky enough to have gotten the consolation prizes for the Sideview ranchu and ryukin. I would like to extend my congratulation to our good friend Nelson. Being our first time out, I figure that it is not at all bad. We went up against all the local big guns and held our own very well. Any how, we will look forward to doing better in the next show (about 3 months from now). There are many factors that I believe that we will be able to solve better for the next comp.

The first set will be of the atmosphere of the fish competition prior to the show started. The actual fish competition was organized last Wednesday, a few days prior to the actual show. The last picture of the set is the actual certificate from the show that I and Nelson won together.

The red/white svr in the second picture is our consolation prize winner, while the Best in Show fish this year is the red orlanda in the following picture.
