Ranchu Competition in Bangkok Yesterday
*gd morn
For all members who are keen to check out the pictures of the All Thailand Ranchu Competition 2006, I am happy to announce that I have been successful in recruiting the assistance of the webmaster of the www.extremeranchu.com site in Bangkok to get a copy of some of the pictures during the show. I would like to thank you Mr.Choke of Extreme Ranchu for his most kind assistance. He informed me that he will be sending me the pictures today and hopefully I will be able to process them for your viewing pleasure soon after that. So be patience ok. If you are restless, feel free to check out their site in the mean time. The site is in Thai, but you should be able to enjoy most of the pictures nonetheless. Cheers. |
Bro Pat,
too bad I missed this great event in Bangkok. Well, I will find time to visit you soon.:D |

I didn't make it either. I was working hard in Korat. I am still waiting for the pictures. Mr. Kashino stopped by the farm yesterday to visit and he said that there were over 200 fish at the show. I talked to him about the possiblity about the competition in SG, and he said that we will have to explore the possibility further. Not a yes, but not a no either. So I guess that we could still work for that. What do you think Bro? |

It will be a big booster to the ranchu hobbyists here if Mr Kashino can be here. I will bring this up to my committee and hopefully can shape everything up nicely. |
I know that if we could plan it well, it should be interesting for him to visit. If we could get the local clubs and enthusiast together to plan on a long term basis, may be also with the help of people in the Pet Association, there could be a start of a new tradition of ranchu competition in SG. Any how, I think that there are enough people in SG to really make it a success already.
