Specialized Ranchu Feed

1 Attachment(s)
I would like to recommend a specialized ranchu feed from Japan. The feed is calld Fry Feed Kyowa N700 or just N700. The same company also made standard feed for ranchu call C700 which is slightly less expensive. The feed is suitable from small fish all the way to adult size. I have been using this feed at home for the past year for all my adult fish instead of red worm and it has worked amazingly. Try it out ok.

The whole box may be a bit too much for your private use, I think. There's about 10 kg per box. However, we have ordered quite a lot for our own and our clients' usage here in Bangkok. Per kilo bag the price for the N700 is 2,200 baht (about S$ 96) and for the C700 is 900 baht (about S$ 42). Personally, for the N700, I would not recommend this feed for beginners since the price is rather high. The C700 will be more suitable. Any how for you newbies out there, there are many other ranchu food in smaller package readily available at much lower price.

But for you serious keepers, you can do your own price comparison with all of the other leading Japanese premium specialized ranchu feed, such as the Japan Ranchu Lord, Momizi, or Janko. You will find that the prices are very close, (actually the N700 cost much less in bulk). I have used every feed that I mentioned here extensively and I stand on the recommendation of Mr.Kashino, that the N700 is far superior in result. Contact me if you're interested or require more information.

regards,

Pat,

I tried to search for N700 in SG but don't think they carry this in SG..

Would you have any idea which dealer in SG carries this product.

Cheers

It is a very specialized food, which I have not seen used by any keepers outside of Japan. We have been lucky that our friends in Japan was kind enough to take the time out to order a batch for us. I thought that since there are already a few dealers who import fish from Japan already in SG, there may have been similar products available. I guess not. No worries, if you like, when you have any friends that happen to be travelling to Bangkok, let me know. We can try to work out a meeting so that you can try out the feed.
