Hello there

Your discription looks alot like the one which was posted in adpost:

http://www.adpost.com/sg/pets/4652/

The adpost buns have been "adopted". I trust its not the same buns yar.

Hey there...no worries. U are welcome to come and view them to satisfy ur curiousity....hehe. U knows..u might take a liking to one of them....Im selling them away coz currently i have 6 rabbits to take care of (3 lionhead, 2 holland lop and 1 local). I realise that im nt able to actually spend enough time with each of them thus i hope to get them new and better homes. The reason im selling is becoz i wanna find someone who is capable and truly sincere.

Dear Honeybunny

I was given to understand that the picture posted by the original owner in adpost is the same one which you are using. And according to the original owner, the lionheads were "adopted" to a good home.

Am i correct then to assume that you are in possession of the lionheads? Whilst I can understand if you adopted the lionheads because you wanted to help out and was concerned about the welfare of the lionheads. But now your saying that you do not have the capacity to take care of them and to quote you "I realise that im nt able to actually spend enough time with each of them", if that is the case, why then did you take them in the first place?? Surely you would have some inkling as to the responsibility that is required when you have these many rabbits. To further quote you "thus i hope to get them new and better homes." would it not be easier to put your rabbits up for adoption rather then to sell them? Adoption gives you the luxury of screening and imposing restrictions like visitation rights, neutering etc on the adopter, whereas sell does not permit you to do so. Many rabbit owners with accidental litters are more the happy to put up their rabbbits up for adoption (subject to the abovementioned restrictions) simply because they want all the rabbits to be well taken care of, to lead good and healthy lives in loving homes. Unless, ultimately it is all about the money, then please be prepared to be "nt able to actually spend enough time with each of them".

Most, if not all animal lovers i know do not believe in paying "adoption fees" no matter how small the amount, because that would defeat the purpose of adoption and is akin to buying the pet.

If you really want to "find someone who is capable and truly sincere.", adoption is the way to go. Only then can you sieve out the genuine persons and also to prevent people from impulse buying that "cute rabbit" without realising rabbits need quite a fare bit of daily maintenance and expenses.

If you need any help with relocating your rabbits or screening would be adopters, please do not feel shy to ask, there are alot of people around who would be willing to help.

Do pardon me if i am blunt, or if i have read your intentions wrongly (i hope i have!), but an animal is not about dollars and cents, like us, they have feelings (both physical and emotional) and it is a life, no matter how big or small the size.

Once again, I urge you to reconsider your intentions.

Trading - adopting & resell

ahgirlfifi, glad u brought up this issue.

FYI, here are unscrupulous ppl out there trying to make money out of a trading pets - adopting them at no cost & reselling them...

And this brings me to recalling that someone under the nick of "honeynurhoney" @ forum site: * has been busy responding to adoption threads & churning want-it posts:

Well, it's just so coincidental that this "honeynurhoney" has the same contact as dear honeybunny here:

nur_zai84@yahoo.com.sg

I am not insinuating anything but i trust that most ppl will have the brain to work out what is gg on here.

So everyone here, pls do not encourage such incorrigible act by buying.

Halo everyone,

I believe that it is very amusing that i will be accused of such a thing although i have made it very clear that anyone who is interested can come and see the rabbits for urself. Im using tat photo becoz i dont have any other photos of the rabbits, thus i copy and paste the photo..hehe...

I appreciate ahgirlfifi sincere concern and understand her passion. Bt i dont quite understand tabithanov *nonsense*...sorry bt im being straightforward here...pls stop this ridiculous and childish act of trying to create confusion all around.

Once again, i urge all interested buyers to approach me should u are interested to view and rest assured tat all misunderstandings will be cleared. Thanks!

Dear tabithanov

Thanks for posting the links!! It only serves to reinforce my belief that i have not read honeybunny's intentions wrongly!!

Funni how contradictory she is when she says "I realise that im nt able to actually spend enough time with each of them thus i hope to get them new and better homes." but at the same time goes all out to try and "adopt" all sorts of pets!!

My greatest fear now is the living conditions of all the animals currently in her "care". Are they living in sanitary conditions, do they have enough food, exercise, maintenance and TLC??

Honeybunny, care to comment? Unless you will only respond to a prospective buyer??
