Shitzu Problems
 

I have a 1 year old shitzu. He has always been a licker. I think it is a nervous habit for him, like a child sucking their thumb. He licks my bed blanket when I lay him down. When I pick him up he wants to lick my face, I was just holding him on my lap and I have a big wet spot on my pant leg. Anyone know what is wrong with my doggy or how I can help him?

I should also say, he just licks his lips for like 10-20 minutes at a time. Almost like I have put peanut butter in his mouth. Is he retarded?
