Pet Insurance

From some of the post that i've read, birds sure don't come cheap. 17k wow :eek:

I was wondering are pet insurance available in this region since some of the animals are almost the price of a small car. What will happen in the event of bird flu (sorry touch wood), but do you guys have a back up plan?

If there is insurance policies for birds in Singapore, Bird Park will be the one to purchase as once a bird with bird flu is found, all birds within 5km radius will be culled, no exceptions.

my company does buys insurance for all the parrots...like in any cases of birds flew off...died etc...as for wat is the insurance catagory under im not very sure :)
