Skin problem
 

Hi all, i'm a new member. Need some help and advice on my dog's skin problem. I have an english cocker spaniel around 3 and a half yrs old. He is suffering from many skin disorders like scratching and biting, hair loss, dandruff on body, rough and scaly like skin patches and sore patches.

I have visited vet many times but the skin problems still persist. Everytime i went to the vet, they will prescibe antibiotics, give jab and medicated shampoo.
Vet also recommend change food diet but still can't solve the problems.

Can anyone help me? Please . . Thxs a lot in advance .

Hi, sorry to hear about your dog's condition.
Since you mentioned that you have tried conventional medicine ie, antibiotics and the condition still persist why not try alternative medicines. ie Herbal and Homeopathics.

I do agreed with you. I had witnessed couple of cases before and surprisingly herbal and homeopathics can do wonders for dogs with skin problem.

Hmm... I went to my nearest neighbourhood library and did a research on dogs. I even borrowed some books home for reference. Well, some of the books recommend the steps u mentioned. But how do i go abt doing it? U have any recommendations on which my dog can take to improve his condition? Thxs for much!!

I don't know what causes your dog's skin problem but mine is due to environmental cause. My dogs started to have skin problem after we moved house two years ago and so we thought it's the new cement that caused it. We didn't know why the problem persisted after more than a year until we stopped using bleach and floor detergent to wash the back court about 6 months ago. We used to wash the back court heavily with the detergent at least once a week to get rid of the rabbit urine stain on the court where my bunny barn sat. Although we made sure we'd used enough water to flush the detergent before we allowed our dogs to enter the area, the detergent did cause the skin problem of my dogs. After we use plain water to use the area every day, we start to see the improvement after a few months and now their skin is fully recovered. Hope it's of reference to you.

To help you with your dogs skin problem, the following is recommended by the manufacturer of DORWEST HERBS

Thanks for allowing me to share. I must emphasize to readers that herbal and homeopathics are here to complement and not replace coventional/molecular medicines. Some ppl use them as a front line medicine for minor problems and resort to Vet if things are more serious. However you can be surprise that they can overcome many ailments.

Then there are others who tried conventional med. first and then then resort to this alternative treatment when they dont see results with antiboitics and what not.
Anyway there are always different views from different school. What we can share is only our experiences.
