i'm buying frm tis couple @ 500SGD..the wife is pregnant tats y she is selling it away..17mnths old n cums with d cert.Wat do you guys think of d price?
pls give ur advise. :(

i think ur better off with the cat then that family. u shldnt pay anything for it. cos they want to get rid of it anyway. what i find horrible is that did the wife expect to not get pregnant at all in her life? if u are gonna pay for it.. at least make sure u get all his toys, food etc..(do change if he is on some unspeakable brand.. but do so slowly.. when u come to that juncture we can advise u again). U shld let that lady know in no uncertain terms that as long as her husband is on litterbox duty and everyone practices basic hygiene no harm will come to the baby. furthermore the can can be tested for toxoplasmosis to determine if the cat has such bacteria in him. But then again.. their willingness to get rid of him without a second thought shows that they arent willing to do EVERYTHING for him. go for it. and just speak about an adoption fee. not daylight robbery. make sure the cert is authentic. if u can get a photocopy of it/email with a scanned copy... we can make sure that it is the real thing. too many cats bought from pet shops now have fake certification and no one knows the better.

congrats!!! I always love scottish fold! They look so cute! But too bad I keep parrots at home, if not I'll sure get one. Saw a few white scottish fold in all breed petshop few months back, they're beautiful! But it cost almost 2K each. :(
