i owe a marchioro too + other cages. It is a good quality lasting cage. However, there is only one drawback - it is difficult to maintain cleanliness as these scenarios also happen:

1) Pee seeping below the pullout trays
2) Hay + foodstuff + soiled bedding + poo dropping onto the base of pullout tray & get push right to back when u replace the trays
3) Pee stains on the underside cage base / separator
4) Hay + fur + poo trapped between cage base / separator + side of cage

It may look clean on the outside when u do frequent basic housecleaning but it allows a lot of trapping of fur, hay, food, pee & poo (may attract cockroaches on long run) which only can be cleaned when u dismantle the cage for a thoroughly wash.

So i still prefer a simple top + front opening, plastic base cage with litter box for littertrained buns. So much easier to maintain. Just change the litter box bedding + sweep & wipe the cage plastic base. My main cage is just that & it offers a good space too, approx 150 x 87 cm of base space with a second deck. It's a fraction of the cost of a marchioro too
