A new companion for a lonely baby bunny??

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum and just after a little bit of advice! My girlfriend and I have been keeping Guinea Pigs for quite a while now but are new to Rabbits. 5 days ago we bought 2 adorable little7 week old Netherland Dwarf rabbits, who were living together at the farm we bought them from. They got on really well. Here's the really sad part! On Sunday night (full day 3 of the're new lives) they both somehow escaped from their hutch in the garden. Now we don't know how this happened cos we're usually really careful when it comes to closing doors! Anyway inthe morning the door was open and the were gone. Luckily a neighbour found one, Berry, but the other, Poppy is nowhere to be seen after a day and a half of searching the neighbourhood.

My real reason for posting is to ask whether it is likely that Berry can get along with a new friend, even if they didn't grow up together. She seems lonely on her own and we'd like to get her a new compenion, but we're unsure if they will bond. As they are only young we figured it might be ok. Does anyone have any advice for us? Thanks
