Yup, chinchillas can be toilet trained. Just put the litter pan in a corner and place some of its poo + pee there. It's hard to train them such tt they only poo in the litter pan but it's definitely possible to train them too pee in the litter pan. Make sure that your cage is cleaned before you start litter training.
