Hello, I raise Jersey Woolies although I live in the US
![]() I hardly ever groom my Woolies. I just fluff them up before a show as previously mentioned. They've been bred to have "easy care" wool that is non-matting. The juniors have a more cottony texture and they need to be brushed maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks. They are not high maintanence at all, really. People see WOOL and instantly picture hours of brushing but that's not it at all. ![]() As for size, they are bigger than Netherlands, but not Holland Lops. The maximum weight is 3.5 lbs. Most of mine weigh about 2.5 - 3 lbs. I have a friend that sends shipments of Woolies and other breeds to Thailand and Japan. I'm sure if there was enough interest she would send a shipment to Singapore. |
