Just like to add an additional piece of information i found in a book. Chins do not have a gallbladder...and that explains why they are unable to process or emulsify fats...and store them in the liver instead, which causes liver problems.

Personally the treats i give are:
Rosehips (twice a week)
Home made supplement (composed of rolled oats etc) (twice a week)
Dehydrated apples (once per week)
Almonds (this is v occasionally half an almond per week or at times none)
Alfafa (twice a week)
