I do know some farms do bred or even imported quality puppies that are pedigeed. There's always a risk buying a puppy that is on offer or far below market price. Good dogs do have a premium price to pay.

I think the only thing you can do now, if you really want to take any legal action, is to report to CASE. Think someone ever did that but not sure if she managed to get a refund.
The whole process will be very taxing on you mentally though...

I think you need to ask yourself what it is you want out of all this. Even if you go to CASE etc, this is not going to stop them from continuing to tell people the wrong thing. This is a practice that this particular farm has been practising over the years. You are not the first victim.

If you decide to go to CASE and succeed, what do you want from it? A refund? Because, if that is the case, you are going to have to return the dog. Are you prepared to do this? The dog would most probably be destroyed as it holds no value to the farm.

CASE would most probably try their best to help you, and the vaccination card is good evidence on your side. But, CASE may ask you how you proved that the dog is not the breed it states, cos it is really hard to tell, and this would be to your disadvantage as CASE is not familiar with cases involving animals.

Hope all this helps

i agree with chins.. u already said u dont wanna get a refund or another dog. if ur hoping to put them out of business not gonna happen. what is best is that now from ur experience u educate ppl on how to buy a dog. tell them what they should look for in terms of health, certificates, etc. its a slow process..and some people wont listen to u. but these are the people who will come back again and ask.. how now my dog/cat/bird sick.. what can u say but "i told u so..." on the other hand there are some people who heed such advise and u shld be proud that u helped someone along the way.
