good god whiskas.. please change for ur cat's sake. the raw is fine and fancy feast is ok for now if he will eat it. Continue feeding him whiskas for now. But do change him onto royal canin exigent. it is one of the better foods to wean cats off whiskas n friskies. start by adding one tsp of rc exigent to his regular food.. slowly increase the amount of exigent daily and decrease the whiskas until the whole bowl is filled with exigent n u can do away with the whiskas. do watch out for diarrhoea.. in the case of diarrhoea cut down on ur rc. do the change slowly. whis/fris..lower end brands are high in sodium and can cause kidney problems. For wet food, nutripe,artemis,science diet,merricks, are examples of good brands for wet(please note that it doesnt always apply to the dry food too). for dry food.. royal canin,artemis,felidae,nutro,solid gold are some good ones. Why i recommend exigent is because tastewise its better,for fussy cats.. cats like whiskas cos of the high sodium.. (we all like potato chips but of course we cant have a diet of them!)
