i dont think going vegetarian is a good idea. cats are obligate carnivores and need meat protein. this cannot be substituted with vegetable protein. furthermore, the cat's digestive tract is a short one n is not designed to digest a lot of fibrous content from veggies. introducing a bit of veg into a homemade diet is good but dont go over board. there is a strictly vegetarian kibble which i think u can buy online. however even that site cautions that u are to use it as a supplementary diet alongside regular cat food or whatever meat it is ur feeding.
