Hello
In Malaysia, there are many exotics that are still legal to keep. Some marmosets, can go up to RM10k a pair... but it depends on how much the seller wants to sell and how tame they are. So far, I know skunks are now available as pets around KL but it's very rare. Petshops now sell a wide variety of exotics such as lizards, snakes, sugar gliders, tarantulas and scorpions, hedgehogs, tortoises and lots more. Even Caimans are sold for around RM6k each and alligator snapping turtles. All these are labeled as exotics and can be illegal to own in Singapore. For some animals, certain types of parrots, iguanas and snakes need a licence to own in Malaysia but it's easy to get and cost about RM10 a year.
My hedgehog is about 6 month old now, gonna reach adult size soon!
