palm cockatoo

I didn't know it was difficult to breed palm. I thought Singaporeans are well versed in this especially after seeing the pair shown at Ruperts's farm.

In reply to amazingpetparrot, the palms I'm having is about 24-25 inches, so I suppose it's Goliath.

I'm sorry, no visitors for now as the pair is still agitated if it sees me although they tolerate me handling the baby.

Just some info - the red patch near the beak is a very good indicator of health. Both babies doing well, the hand fed one is a bit underweight though.

Quite nervous about the success though cause the palms don't have permit and it's illegal to have them here. Cant help it cause its' previous owner did not bother applying for one. Any one out there willing to spare a permit?
