Read the instructions on the product you are using and follow accordingly. If you are using the Frontline Spot On it is resistant to swimiing, rain and bathing but try and reduce the number of baths and cut down on shampoo use. Do not bath the dog two days before and after treatment with Spot On. I believe the Spray type is not as water resistant.
